Large-format cutting machine

MuK has designed and manufactured cutting machine for aircraft parts which became larger and larger made of CFRP. Their ultrasonic knives cut out the desired forms of laid out carbon fibre laminate. MuK is focussed on cutting machines for large parts. The largest one had a cutting zone of 5.5 x 27 metres.
Each cutting machine is equipped with four numerically controlled axes and
a 20 kHz ultrasonic cutting device.
